Breast Cancer Now - a Charity I support annually with a big event

  Lots of us get "charity fatigue" this time of year. Especially when there are so many worthy causes out there clamouring for our support. I want to highlight one to you just now....... Among the charities I support annually is Breast Cancer Now. Having had family members and friends suffer(and some sadly die from) with the disease I have always had an interest in what the different cancer charities are able to offer in support with this. The photo at the top is of me and my darling mum - who went through the trauma of breast cancer twice - two different forms of breast cancer. So I know quite a bit about the illness. So, to that end I hold a Coffee Morning with brilliant home baking, amazing raffle, silent auction of great items (and it doesn't have to cost you a fortune), coffee (or non-alcoholic beverage of choice) and of course great banter.  It is being held at me home on Thursday 26th October from 10.30am - 1pm.
